Since the time of Mahmood Ghaznavi​,​ Bhera has been an important city​,​ and during his numerous invasions of India​,​ he conquered this city as well. It boasts of many historic landmarks​,​ the grandest of them all which we will visit is the Sher Shah Suri mosque​,​ a masterpiece of old architecture.
